On Thursday, May 14th I started out in Las Vegas, NM, a prominent and wealthy railroad town at the turn of the 20th century and then declined as the railroads faded after WWII. As you can see the architecture is unique and interesting. I met Miguel at Moonlite Welding. Miguel is a retired welder and Viet Nam Veterian who helps his brother at the shop from time to time. Miguel said that the building had a sparkling history as a saloon and brothel many years ago.
